Vita Sackville-West letter to John Milne Janney, 1960 August 25.

In a typed letter dated 25 Aug. 1960, the author responds to Mr. Janney's request for her to inscribe a book; she points out that the bookplate is not hers, but belonged to her mother, also named Victoria, and comments on her mother's fondness for bookplates. She adds a handwritten note on the verso directing the recipient to her novel, Pepita, written about her mother and her Spanish ancestry.
